The Appalachia Provisional Government is a fan-made nation within the video-game universe of Fallout. I designed the Seal (golden logo) first as a way to represent the nation and its setting. The simplified mountain illustration within the Seal representing the Appalachian Mountains. The flag was kept simplified as well as the science fiction universe would prefer for simple banners to be used by factions. Using the color blue for the Blue Ridge Mountains. Finally, the final flag was made as a war flag used by its military just how the branches of the US Military each have their own flags.
